A high voltage drama, EKLAVYA - THE ROYAL GUARD has been extensively shot in Rajasthan and boasts of a male-heavy starcast comprising of Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Saif Ali Khan, Jimmy Shergill and Boman Irani apart from Vidya Balan and Raima Sen. Tinu Verma is the man behind the action in the film which has a rustic appeal to it. Earlier titled YAGNA, the film's principal shooting was completed months back in 2006. Later Vidhu Vinod Chopra moved all his energies into releasing LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI and EKLAVYA was shifted to a later day. Also, the post production of EKLAVYA was handled quite meticulously so that it could stand out in a league similar to world class cinema!
