And in a place like Bollywood, where only plastic smiles and superficial emotions reign supreme, finding a real saviour is not just tough but also impossible. But Ajay Devgan is one man who has just proved this wrong. And Leena Yadav, the director of Teen Patti is someone who will surely vouch for it. What had happened was that Leena had confirmed Akshaye Khanna to do a cameo in her film which stars the towering Big B. But due to reasons best known to Akshaye himself, he opted out at the last moment, thus leaving Leena in a quandary. And that's when Leena called up the otherwise reclusive Ajay Devgan, who immediately agreed to do the film, which is totally contrary to what a certain section of the media had reported (that Big B had requested Ajay Devgan to fill in for Akshaye). Sources close to Ajay told Bollywood Hungama that it's confirmed news that Ajay is indeed doing a cameo in Teen Patti and that he has also shot for three days for the same. Just a few days ago Bollywood Hungama also broke the news that producer director Vidhu Vinod Chopra has signed in Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke for his next big project. It's the West meets the East season. But wait...there's something more which is going to get you blackjacked! Leena Yadav Bajaj's film Teen Patti, rings a bell? The high-stake gambling film with a cause which is headed by Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, R Madhavan, Raima Sen and many others is due to release this year. The film is said to have been inspired from a true story of MIT students who mastered the art of card counting and took Las Vegas casinos for millions in winnings. In fact, Hollywood made its own version of the film last year, the Kevin Spacey starrer 21. Now seeing our Bollywood directors getting inspired by the western neighbours is one thing, but seeing these big Hollywood stars getting inspired by our Bollywood cinema is another. And to join the ongoing list of biggies is an Irish born Hollywood actor who swept the entire world by his suave acting skills. Following a stage acting career he rose to popularity in the television series Remington Steele after which there was no looking back and what followed were blockbuster films like Mrs. Doubtfire, Golden Eye, Die Another Day, Tomorrow Never Dies, Laws of Attraction, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Tailor of Panama and Mama Mia to name a few. He had the biggest and the maddest female following in the U.K during his 'Bond' days and of course, he was popularly known around the world as 'Bond...James Bond'. We've known from our sources that Mr. Brosnan's scenes were entirely shot in Oxford, U.K. and the film kick starts with him in a sitting cameo. Teen Patti is rumoured to be inspired by Kevin Spacey starrer '21' which was released in India in 2008. The whole plot is the same and the only difference is that '21' was shot in Las Vegas while Teen Patti has been shot in Mumbai and the prestigious Flame College in Pune. Big B steps into Kevin Spacey's shoes as a professor who teaches his students the art of gambling. The makers of the film are denying any resemblance to 21. Holly: Producer Ambika Hinduja busy with her wedding Just five days of shooting left for Amitabh Bachchan starrer "Teen Patti" and it has been put on hold. Reason? Producer Ambika Hinduja is getting married on Feb 15 to her restaurateur boyfriend Raman Macker in the Maldives. All other activities related to Hinduja's life too have been put on hold, much to the director Leena Yadav's dismay. The grand wedding stretches itself into a good one month of celebrations. Speaking on Leena's behalf, her husband Aseem Bajaj, who's the cinematographer of "Teen Patti", said: "It's true Ambika is getting married after a fairytale romance. And we've all put aside the film for now until the event. The wedding is on Feb 15. But the celebrations go on way beyond." "Teen Patti" is Leena's second directorial venture, which also stars R. Madhavan. For the film, Leena has one significant casting to do. It's a pivotal but small role requiring a Caucasian actor. But all that comes after the wedding. Until then the film remains incomplete by just five days with the director biting her nails in suspense as the new actor's dates would have to be synchronised with the Big B and R. Madhavan's dates. "It's a bit tricky and complicated. Getting a white-skinned actor at this last stage of the film won't be easy. Websites aren't making it easier for us by telling the world that we've cast Pierce Brosnon in the role. Where did he come in? We haven't started considering anyone yet.
